Went too see my Counter-Brutha Johnny Brindisi's new band Big Gunz on Friday night out at the Mill St Brewery in Soutbreeeege MA and they were killer. The establishment is freaking awesome and what a great musician vibe this place has. Nice bar, Nice people and the sound was great also. If ya get a chance to check the place out and you might real soon as Short Bus and Gunz were talking about a double bill at this place!!!!!! The band killed as they rocked through a ton of my 80's favorites as well as some newer stuff by U2 and Audioslave, I Stayed and video taped the first set and Becky took a bunch of shots of the band. I'm stoked to say that John has recovered from Counters hiatus and emerged with a great new band of Musicians. My good friend Jeff (aka Zoomboy) on bass, Dave on guitar, (I had the pleasure to jam with Dave a few times) Smokin Player! Wayne is a killer drummer with some major chop's and solid as a rock, Dennis is the show, He gets into every note he plays and has a nice solid groove. What can I say about John that I haven't said before. Not only is he the best singer this county has ever seen but it was the most comfortable and relaxed on Stage I have seen in two or three years. His voice was the best I have heard him in the same amount of time, Catch a big Gunz Show coming to a club near you.
